Automate Orders — Privacy Policy

Automate Orders is a private application used by an eBay seller to send automated customer messages and mark relevant orders as dispatched or sent. It is operated independently of eBay.

Information used

The application accesses the connected seller's orders, including order and listing identifiers, buyer identifiers, quantities, payment and fulfillment status. It uses the seller's configured customer message for the relevant listing and records message and dispatch status to prevent duplicate processing.

Purpose and storage

Order information is used to send automated customer messages through eBay and update the relevant orders or order lines as dispatched or sent. Credentials, saved messages and locally stored order records are encrypted on the seller's server. The administration dashboard is password protected.

Sharing

The application communicates with eBay to perform these functions. Buyer information is not sold or used for advertising.

Account deletion and access

Verified eBay account-deletion notifications cause matching locally stored records to be removed. If the connected seller's account is deleted, the application also removes the seller authorization and pauses the automation. The seller can pause the application and revoke its access through eBay.
